About the Author
Tanya Jean lives in England with her award winning performer husband, Fisher Stevens, and their two teenage boys. She has always loved (been obsessive about) books, and has an embarrassingly huge and ever growing pile of things that she just 'has' to read, next to her bed.

The Cabin Crew Series, Broken Trust & Point of No Return, allowed her to combine her love of writing with her experiences of working in the airline world. She squeezes her writing (daydreaming...) around her family and her day job , and is convinced that chocolate & diet coke should be considered a well-balanced diet.

About the book
Jake Williams has been undercover as a captain at Great Britain Air for months and he's beyond frustrated. Tasked with finding the airline insiders who are smuggling chemical weapons into the country, he's getting nowhere fast.

Bree Phillips has spent her whole life wanting to travel and experience life outside of the small village she grew up in, but her family needed her. Now, years later than planned, she is finally joining her best friend to work for Great Britain Air, and her adventure is beginning.

Jake knows he is better off alone, it keeps him sharp and focused, but despite his efforts to keep Bree at a distance, she is drawn further and further into his world. Both have to ask themselves whether some risks are worth taking.

Review
Jake is tasked with finding criminals, who are using airlines to smuggle chemical weapons from one country to another. His cover is airline pilot at Great Britain Air. The last thing he needs is to get emotionally or personally involved with one of the cabin crew, but sometimes things don't work out the way you expect them to.

He doesn't expect to be drawn to Bree, a newbie at the airline. The cabin crew newbie is confused as to why one of the captains appears to be slightly antagonistic towards her. It's really a pity because he is such a handsome grump of a man.

She is focused on being good at her job and afraid one small hiccup will see her thrown out and without a job. As the story develops we see Jake become progressively more protective of Bree and her sharp wit create a spark between them.

It's a romance with a hint of suspense.

Russell delivers a solid read with no gratuitous details, it's just a pleasant read with a happy ever after feel. Sometimes that's enough for it to be a good read. There were a few build-ups to what seemed to be major characters or sub-stories, but those ended up fading away, which was a shame after the time spent developing them. Aside from that it was a quick pleasant read.
