#BlogTour Tuscan Enchantment by Kate Zarelli
Today it's my turn on the BlogTour Tuscan Enchantment by Kate Zarelli. It's a modern day romance with an old romance feel to it, and an added flavour of historical fiction.

About the book
This was no cold marble—this was a man! Antonia goes to Tuscany to rebuild her life. The last thing she wants to do is fall in love, least of all with rich, arrogant, aristocratic Lorenzo.
Librarian Antonia Gray has fled England for northern Tuscany after an unhappy love affair to work on the archive of a 17th century Italian explorer, a member of a centuries-old aristocratic family.
There she meets his descendent, Lorenzo Quattromani, rich, arrogant, handsome—and engaged to the beautiful and ruthless Giselle. The last thing Antonia wants is to fall in love, least of all with someone so dangerous. His engagement, though, is not what it seems, and Lorenzo breaks down Antonia’s resistance. But Giselle has other ideas.
Review
Antonia isn't expecting to fall in lust with the first handsome stranger that comes along, and it doesn't help that he is the nephew of her employer. A rich privileged man with snooty privileged friends. The type of man who wears ladies on his arm like he would wear an expensive watch.
Lorenzo on the other hand is well aware that his image says one thing about his character and perhaps not always the right thing. He is eager to prove to his aunt and to Antonia that there is more behind his shallow exterior than just a rich playboy without a care in the world.
The two of them are drawn to each other like magnets, and yet it seems as if fate has other plans for them. Is Antonia going to fall into the trap of another supposedly perfect scenario? Can the two of them ever be happy together?
This is definitely a story for readers who enjoy the classic romance genre style of the 80s but set in modern times. Think bodice-ripper with an extremely handsome well-to-do man and slightly less attractive woman of lower social standing. It does have some women want to be ravished by the sexy specimen of manhood even if they say no or think they don't moments, but this is absolutely in keeping with the late 20th century flair of the story.
If you are up for a romance with plenty of breathless moments of abandonment, dramatic storylines and sympathetic characters, then this will be right up your alley. It's a modern day romance with an old romance feel to it, and an added flavour of historical fiction.
